Spars/Rigging:
Sloop rigged with aluminum spars and S.S. standing rigging. Her sail inventory consists of a mainsail with 2 reef points and a cover, 140% Genoa on a “Furlex” roller furling system and a cruising Spinnaker (Gennaker). She has 2 ST sheet winches, 2 halyard winches, a boom vang and all the lines are led aft.
Engine/Electrics:
Powered by a 15 HP 2 cylinder Yanmar diesel with 1283 hours on the meter. Her fuel capacity is 20 gallons (imp) in one composite fuel tank and she’ll use less than ½ gal/hr at cruise. There are 4–12v batteries in 2 banks, 110V shorepower, 2 – 50 watt adjustable solar panels on the railings, a 30 watt battery charger, compass, VHF radio, “Lowrance” X-40 depthsounder, “JRC” Radar 1500, “Garmin” GPS 12 & GPS 128, “Raytheon” ST4000 autopilot, automatic bilge pump and a “Sony” AM/FM/CD stereo system.
Interior:
Down below she has a great layout with a sit-down chart table to port and a galley to starboard. The galley has a deep S.S. sink with 12V fresh water pump and a foot operated manual pump. Her fresh water is stored in 2 plastic tanks of 50 gallons (imp) total. The stove is a “Princess” 3 burner/oven (propane) with solenoid and sniffer and the fridge/freezer unit is 12V/110V with compressor. The galley has adequate storage and prep space and has a custom garbage storage unit under the sink area. Going forward there are 2 settees on opposite sides with a table on centreline which opens up for dining. The port settee converts to a double berth and there is a “Force 10” propane heater mounted on the bulkhead. There is 6’ 2 standing headroom throughout, the cabin sole is made of teak and holly and there are 6 opening portholes and an opening hatch in the salon. Going forward she has an enclosed head to port with vanity and sink, manual water, a teak shower grate with pan and a marine head with holding tank and macerator. Opposite is a hanging locker and the Vee berth is forward with opening portholes and hatch.
Exterior/Other Equipment:
She has a T-shaped cockpit with 2 deep cockpit lockers, a lazarette and a dedicated self-draining propane locker. She has wheel steering on a pedestal with grab bar (a new bronze quadrant was recently installed). There is a dodger with full cockpit canvass, S.S. boarding ladder, a 9’ “Polaris” inflatable dinghy on davits with oars and a 2 HP Honda OB. Her anchor package consists of a custom bowsprit with double rollers, 15 kg Bruce and Fortress anchors with 200’ chain, 100’ line and a 12V Capstan type winch. Other gear includes a S.S. propane BBQ, cockpit cushions, cockpit table, teak cockpit grate (aft), fire extinguishers and some safety gear including an EPIRB and MOB pole.
Remarks:
This yacht was outfitted and sailed to Mexico. She has a good bottom and has been well maintained.
