Spars/Rig:
Sloop rigged with aluminium spars and S.S. standing rigging. 5 sails: main(slab reefing) with cover, 100% jib, 135% Genoa, 170% Genoa, cruising Spinnaker. There are 2 sheet winches, 2 halyard winches and a Spinnaker pole.
Engine/Electrics:
Powered by a 30 HP Universal Atomic 4 gasoline engine on a V-drive with 2 blade prop. Her fuel capacity is 10 gallons in one S.S. tank. There are 2 batteries, compass, VHF radio, knotmeter, "Humminbird" depthsounder and automatic bilge pump.
Interior:
Down below she'll sleep 5 in a V berth, 2 settees and a quarter berth. Down the companionway steps an L-shaped galley is to starboard with an ice box, 2 burner kerosene stove with oven, S.S. sink with manual fresh water pump and a fresh water capacity of 20 gallons in 1 plastic tank). Opposite is a large quarter berth with storage under. The salon is laid out with 2 outboard settees and a teak drop-down table on the centreline.
The cabin sole is made of oak and the boat is heated by a bulkhead mounted kerosene "Force 10" cabin heater. Forward of the bulkhead on port is an enclosed head with vanity and S.S. sink, manual water pump and marine head. Opposite the head is a hanging locker. The vee berth has an insert making a large double and has an opening hatch with bug screen over.
Exterior/Other Equipment:
Her cockpit is aft with wheel steering, deep cockpit locker and the mainsheet traveller is on the bridge deck. The decks are cambered and she has double lifelines, pulpit, pushpit and a Danforth anchor, approx 50' of chain and some line. Other gear includes a fire extinguisher and various bits of safety gear including an MOB pole and wooden bungs for the thru hulls.
Remarks:
An excellent sailing yacht (very fast and can sail close to the wind) with assumable moorage in Secret Cove.
