Engine/Electrics:
Powered by a 4 cylinder
BMC 56 HP diesel engine (located amidships)
with keel
coolers and a wet exhaust. Her drive
is a straight 1.25" S.S. shaft with
a five bladed prop. She has one plastic
fuel tank of 30 gallons capacity and
she will cruise at 7 knots (1850 RPM)
using 1.25 gals/hr. There are 2 batteries,
a battery charger, 2 automatic bilge
pumps, a compass, and a VHF radio.
Interior:
She is laid out with a wheelhouse
amidships with a centre console
steering station
that gives 360 degree visibility.
There are steps that go down to seating areas
both forward and aft on each
side of the console. In the forward lounge there
is a centreline steering station
up front, and there is storage under the forepeak
and under the seats. the engine
is accessed
from the forward lounge under
the centre console. The aft lounge has a similar
layout and has an opening stern
window for ventilation. The wheelhouse can be
boarded from either side and
has 1/2 lower doors that can be dogged. The upper
portion of the doors have removable
canvass
with see-thru windows so to make
her completely enclosed.
Exterior/Other Equipment:
Plexiglas windows
surround the entire cabin area
and passenger accommodation
areas. The foredeck is fitted
with a Sampson post and she has running lights
and a horn. She comes equipped
with some safety gear including a Danforth anchor
with chain and line, searchlight,
extinguisher,
manual bilge pump, engine room
fire alarm, and fuel tank shut-off.
Remarks:
This vessel has been inspected
by DOT and complied with all
their recommendations.
She
has a commercial operators licence,
has a December 2003 survey on file and was
last hauled in October 2007.
