Engine/Electrics:
Powered by a 130 HP Ford Lehman 6 cylinder diesel engine with keel coolers and a dry stack. She has a twin disc gear and a 3 bladed bronze prop. There are 2 black iron fuel tanks of approx 300 + gallons capacity. She'll cruise at 6 knots using 2 gals/hr and has a top speed of 8 knots. There are 2 batteries (8D's), shorepower, charger, compass, VHF radio, colour TV, CD stereo and 2 automatic bilge pumps.
Interior:
Down below she has the galley immediately on starboard with a S.S. sink with manual cold water pump (water capacity is 75 gallons in one S.S. tank) and a "Dickenson" Pacific diesel stove. Refrigeration is by a 12V cooler. On port is a full length settee with marine head under a lift-up aft section. There is large vee berth forward with an opening hatch over. The salon also has 4 opening ports.
Exterior/Other Equipment:
The aft deck has a deep fish hold with a ladder going down to a large storage area. Most of the aft deck is covered by a hard canopy over, has a table and room for lounging chairs. A large tow post is just aft of the fish hold and the lazarette opens up to give good access to the steering gear. going forward to the bows is a "Easthope" hydraulic winch, a Navy type anchor on a bow roller with chain and line. Other gear includes a swing arm boom with block and tackle, a towing light and some safety gear.
Remarks:
This was Frank Fredette's personal boat. He designed and built it to go fishing on the west Coast. Has beautiful lines, is well maintained and has negotiable moorage in Gibsons.
